Class B buildings are generally slightly older, less modern versions of Class A premises. Buildings competing for a wide range of users with rents in the average range for the area. Building finishes are fair to good for the area. Class B Building finishes are fair to good for the area and systems are adequate, but the building does not compete with Class A at the same price. Class B premises are generally well located buildings with decent to excellent facilities and amenities. Another consideration that separates Class A and B buildings is age. Some buildings start out with a Class A rating but are downgraded after 10 years or once signs of wear and tear become apparent. 

Class B properties are considered "average" as far as office spaces go.
